Membership Benefits

• Association with area artists painting in the realism style.
• Monthly meeting on the 1st Tuesday at 7:00 pm featuring demonstrations by well know professional artists and teachers.
• ACA Yearbook an annual directory which lists current members, identifies members who teach painting classes and calendar of events.
• ACA News the monthly newsletter about ACA's activities.
• Monthly Meeting competition for prizes and inclusion in the next ACA News.
• Priority for enrollment in Workshops conducted by well know artists and teachers.
• A personal web page in ACA's Gallery to display your artwork, provide information about yourself, and links for your email and web site.
• Active Members may enter and compete for prizes in the juried Annual Award Show.  The accepted artwork is featured the entire month of May in a venue open to the public.
• Signature Membership recognition is awarded to any Active Member who has had work accepted in five Annual Award Shows.
• A 20% discount on purchases at Asel Art Supply.

Types of Membership

Active Member

Active Members have full privileges of the organization.  $35/year

Associate Member

Associate Members have all privileges of the organization except voting and exhibition in the Annual Award Show.  $25/year

Membership Details

ACA's fiscal year is June 1st to May 31st.  Membership is discounted 50% for individuals joining between January to March but, not discounted if joining for a Workshop or entry in the Annual Award Show.

Submit an on–line Membership Application or manually apply for Membership to join the Dallas artists group which has existed for over 50 years.
